Jake has been a long time enthusiast and participant in marching band and drum corps:

Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps, snare drum, DCI Div. III finalists, 2004

Jake has also spent a number of years in the teaching role, which he loves doing very much:

Parkview High School Marching Band, percussion caption head/arranger
Marionville High School Marching Band, summer camp clinician
Central High School Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps, snare drum technician

At Parkview High School, Jake served for three years as the percussion arranger and caption head, leading the percussion section to a high percussion award in finals at the Northwest Arkansas Invitational Marching Classic, October 30, 2004.
